Jeremy Croft addresses the mundane, often overlooked items that we tend to interact with daily. In this group of work, Jeremy places the subject against a solid flatly painted background encouraging the viewer to ponder the subject without distraction. Using limited color ways throughout, these colorful oil paintings approach realism while maintaining an element of abstraction.

Jeremy is a self-taught artist, new on the Charleston scene. He has had solo shows at Stems and Skins in North Charleston and Last Saint downtown in 2022. Recently he was selected as an Emerging Artists to Watch by the City Paper, and was an Under the Radar finalists featured in Charleston Magazine in 2023.
