Jonathan Rypkema and Adam Eddy work in the transitional space between materials, genres, colors, and techniques. Rypkema uses what he finds by chance, often from building or industrial sources, to construct forms that suggest architecture or potential functionality. Eddy uses paper, paint, pixels, and screens as interchangeable vehicles for color and atmosphere. Together their works explore categorical dissolution between form and function, object and environment, interior and exterior.

The Last Beach
Artist Colleen Terrell Comer exhibits her solo show on the brightest walls in the city. Comer lives and works in the heat and humidity of Mobile, Alabama. She grew up on the edge of a swamp and spent her summers barefoot and dirty. She creates paintings, sculptures and performances that explore the surreal constructs and contradictions of everyday life and womanhood- with specific influences from the coastal southern culture in which she was raised.
